1 3/4 cups cake flour 1/4 teaspoon baking soda 1 stick margarine 1/2 cup and one tablespoon brown sugar 1 egg a dash of vanilla extract 1/4 teaspoon table salt 1/2 cup or more chopped walnuts* 1/2 cup or more chocolate chips* 1/2 cup or more raisins* * Adjust the amount to taste
Directions:Mix the flour and baking soda by sifting (twice), then set the mixture aside. In a bowl, mix the margarine and brown sugar until fluffy, then beat in the egg and vanilla. Mix the flour and baking soda into the batter. Add the rest of the ingredients (walnuts, chocolate chips, and raisins) and mix lightly. Drop from a teaspoon onto a greased baking pan. Flatten with a fork dipped in flour. Bake at 320F for 15 to 20 min.
