1/2 c Water 6 Pork chops; thick, cut with
1/2 c Butter -pockets
1 c Stuffing, herb-seasoned 2 tb Shortening
2 tb Parsley; chopped 1/4 c Water
Heat water, add butter, and stir until butter melts. Add stuffing and
parsley, tossing with fork until crumbs are thoroughly moistened. Fill
pockets of chops with stuffing; secure with toothpicks. Brown chops
on both sides in melted shortening. Arrange in baking dish. Stir 1/4
cup water into skillet drippings; pour over chops. Cover. Bake at
350 degrees for 45 minutes. Uncover; continue baking 15 minutes more
or until chops are tender.
