Cooking Preparation of the Recipe:
Pastry for two pies cut in Juice of lemon
Rounds 1 tb Flour
Chop: 1 c Sugar
1 c Raisins (small as possible) 1 Egg yolk (whole egg too
Peel of one lemon Liquid) unbeaten
Mix: 1 pn Salt
Raisins, lemon
Blend raisin mixture. Put small amount on each round. Fold over and
press edges with fork. (Might use egg white to moisten edges) Bake
as pie 375 - 400. Tip: Cover cookie sheet with foil for easy clean
up.
This recipe came from Graham Kerr when he was a young whipper-snapper
on TV in Canada. I remember taking it down during his program.
I have made them, and they were really good.
