Cooking Preparation of the Recipe:

1/2 c Red hot candy 1 tb Lemon juice
3 c Boiling water ds Salt
2 c Apple sauce 1/2 c Chopped nuts
1 lg Box cherry Jello

--------------------------TOPPING-------------------------------
8 oz Cream cheese 2 tb Mayonnaise
1/4 c Milk

Dissolve gelatin and candy in boiling water, stir in apple sauce,
lemon and salt. Chill until partially set. Add nuts. Pour into 8 x
8 x 2 inch pan. Allow to set. TOPPING: Blend cream cheese, milk and
mayonnaise. Spread on top of Jello. Randy Rigg
