Cooking Preparation of the Recipe:

1 c Granulated sugar 10 oz Strawberries crushed and
1 ea Beaten egg -sweetened
1 c Flour 1/2 ts Salt
1/4 c Milk 1 tb Cooking oil
2 ts Baking powder

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. In large bowl, mix dry ingredients
together. Add egg, oil and milk. Mix at low speed with mixer until
well blended. Batter will be thick. Spread into well greased 9 inch
square baking pan. Pour strawberries over batter. Bake for 35- 40
minutes, until golden brown. Serve warm or cold with whipped cream.
