Cooking Preparation of the Recipe:
2 Eggs 2 tb Hot water
2 c Brown sugar 1 ts Vanilla
1 c Shortening 3 1/2 c Flour
1 ts Soda
Mix eggs and sugar, add shortening and mix. Add soda dissolved in hot
water. Add vanilla and flour. Shape in small balls and place on
cookie sheet. Press both ways with a fork. Bake at 350 degrees
about 10 min.
