1 cn (1 Lb) Beans In Barbecue Potato Flakes -- *
Sauce 1 pk Onion Soup Mix
1 cn (1 Lb) Tomatoes 1 Egg
1 lb Lean Ground Beef 1/4 c Catsup
1/2 c Pillsbury Hungry Jack Mashed 1/4 ts Pepper
---------------------DROP BISCUITS-------------------------------
1 c Pillsbury's Best All-Purpose 1/4 ts Salt
Flour 1/2 c Milk
1 1/2 ts Baking Powder 3 tb Cooking Oil
* May substitute soda cracker crumbs
Combine beans and tomatoes in 9-inch square baking dish; spread
evenly. Combine ground beef, potato flakes, 1/4 cup onion soup mix,
egg, catsup and pepper in mixing bowl. Shape into twenty-one 1 1/2-in
meatballs. Arrange in three rows lengthwise on top of beans. Bake
uncovered at 400 F for 20 mins. Remove from oven. Drop biscuits by
tablespoonfuls into 2 rows between meatballs. Bake at 400 F for 20 to
25 mins longer.
Drop Biscuits: Combine dry ingredients with remainder of onion soup
mix in mixing bowl. Combine milk and oil; add all at once stirring
only until moistened.
Note: For use with Pillsbury's Best Self-Rising Flour, omit baking
powder and salt.
Makes 6 servings.
