Cooking Preparation of the Recipe:

------------------COMBINE IN TOP OF DOUBLE-----------------------

1 1/2 c Cooked rice Remove from heat.
1 c Milk Add
2 Slightly-beaten eggs 1 T Butter or Margarine
1/3 c Sugar 1 t Vanilla
Cook over simmering water, 1/3 c Raisin,currants or chopped
Stirring contantly, until Dates
Mixture coats a metal spoon.

Pour into serving bowl and allow to stand, without stirring, for 30
minutes Serve warm or chilled, with cream. (I sprinkle cinnamon
and/or nutmeg on top.) Taken from an "Old" Purity Flour Cookbook.
