Cooking Preparation of the Recipe:
1 3/4 c Flour
2 c Cornmeal
3 tb Sugar
3 tb Shortening
2 c Milk
2 ts Cream tartar
1 ts Soda
1 Pinch of salt
2 ea Eggs
Combine all dry ingredients in a bowl. Beat eggs and add milk, stir
into dry ingredients and lastly add melted shortening. Put in greased
8x8 pan and bake in
375 oven for 20-25 min.
