Cooking Preparation of the Recipe:
1/4 c Sugar
1 cn Sliced beets, drained
1/2 c Apple cider vinegar
2 Bay leaves
1/2 c Orange juice
Simmer sugar , vinegar and bay leaf in saucepan for 5 minutes.
Stir in orange juice and pour over beets. Cover, chill overnight to
bland flavors. Makes about 2 cups. Two cups sliced fresh beets may be
