1/2 c Shortening 1 c White sugar
1/2 c Margarine 1 c Milk
3 T Cocoa 5 T Flour
In top of double boiler, mix the shortening, margarine cocoa and white
sugar. Cook over boiling water. Continue mixing until it is the
consistency of thick paste. Set aside to cool. Meanwhile, mix
together the 1 cup milk and the 5 tbsp flour. Add the cooled cooked
mixture to the milk/flour mixture and beat until smooth. (*If kitchen
or day is very warm, refrigerate until stiff enough to spread*) Keep
iced cake in fridge. Icing will store in fridge for up to 2 weeks.
