Cooking Preparation of the Recipe:
6 Sliced Apples 1 Egg, Beaten
1 c Sugar 3 ts Sugar
1 c Flour 1 ts Cinnamon
1 ts Baking Powder 1/4 c Water
1/4 ts Salt
Slice apples into greased baking dish. To make topping: Combine
ingredients, add to well beaten egg and mix until crumbly. Spread
over apples. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar mixture. Dot with
butter and pour 1/4 cup water over top. Bake at 350øF for about 50
minutes or until top is browned and apples are done. Serve with
cream, or vanilla ice cream. From: Syd's Cookbook.
