3 lb Empire Kosher IQF Legs
Cut up
2 Onions; med. -- thinly
Sliced
1/4 c Mushrooms -- sliced
1 c Dry White Kosher Wine
2 Cloves Garlic
1/2 ts Thyme
2 tb Olive OR Vegetable Oil
1 cn Peeled Tomatoes -- coarsely
2 3 tbsp.
Coat frozen chicken parts with flour, season with pepper. In a lrg.
frying pan; heat oil and brown chicken legs lightly, about 8 mins.
total time. Remove chicken, add onions, garlic and mushrooms to pan
drippings. Cook about 5 mins. over med. heat. Return chicken to pan;
sprinkle with thyme. Add tomatoes and wine. Simmer 45-50 mins.
uncovered or until chicken it tender.
MICROWAVE: Drecease wine to 1/2 cup. Mix all ingredients in lrg.
microwave safe casserole without browning, cook covered with wax
paper on High for 30-35 mins.
