1/2 lb Ground beef 2 tb Chopped and seeded Vlasic
2 ts Chili powder -mild or hot cherry peppers
1/8 ts Ground cumin 8 Frankfurters
1 cn Campbell's pork beans in 8 Frankfurter buns, split and
-tomato sauce (16 oz.) OR -toasted
1 cn Campbell's Ranchero beans 1/2 c Finely chopped onion
-(15 1/2 oz.)
To make chili: In 2-quart saucepan over medium heat, cook beef, chili
powder and cumin until no pink remains in meat, stirring to separate
meat. Spoon off fat. Stir in beans, pressing with spoon to mash
slightly. Stir in peppers; heat to boiling. Reduce heat to low;
simmer, uncovered, 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
On grill rack, arrange frankfurters directly above medium-hot coals.
Grill, uncovered, 5 to 8 minutes or until heated through, turning
often. Place frankfurters in buns. Spoon about 1/4 cup chili and 1
tablespoon onion over each. Serves 8
