1 ts Cinnamon
1/4 ts Salt
1 1/3 c Buttermilk*; at room tempera
1 1/3 c Apple juice; at room tempera
1 tb Honey
4 Egg whites; whipped

flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt. In another
mixing bowl, combine buttermilk, apple sauce, honey, and egg whites.

enough batter to fill two-thirds of the waffle iron. Cook until
crisp and golden brown. Set aside. Repeat with remaining batter.
