Cooking Preparation of the Recipe:
2 1/2 c Flour -SODA BREAD:
1/2 c Whole wheat flour 1 pk Bread mix
1 c Dried currants 1/4 c Butter, softened
1 c Light brown sugar 2 Eggs
1 tb Baking powder 1 1/2 c Buttermilk
1 ts Baking powder
Mix: Combine all ingredients and store in an airtight container.
Irish Soda Bread: Preheat oven to 350. Grease and flour a 9"
springform pan. Cut butter into mix. Add eggs and buttermilk, stir
until smooth. Pour into pan and bake 45 minutes or until a toothpick
inserted in center comes out clean. Serve warm.
