Cooking Preparation of the Recipe:

3/4 lb Fresh broccoli 1/2 ts Onion; grated
1/4 c Water 1/8 ts Thyme, whole dried
1/3 c Mayonnaise 1 ts Lemon rind; grated
1 tb Lemon juice

Trim off leaves of broccoli and remove tough ends of lower stalks.
Wash broccoli and slice into separate spears. Arrange broccoli spears
in a circle in a glass pie plate, placing stems toward outside. Add
water.

Cover with heavy-duty plastic wrap and microwave on high for 4 to 6
mins or until spears are tender. Drain well and arrange on serving
platter.

Combine next four ingredients in a 1-cup glass measure. Microwave on
high for 30 to 40 secs or until thoroughly heated. Pour over
broccoli. Sprinkle with lemon rind.

YIELD: 2 to 4 servings.
