1/2 lb Ground Poppy Seeds 1/2 ts Ground Cinnamon
1 c Water 1 c Granulated Sugar
1 c Milk 1/2 c Graham Crackers, crushed
1 tb Butter 1/2 c Raisins, Softened In
1/2 ts Vanilla Extract Water Drained
NOTE: Makes enough for 3 dozen cookies.
1. In heavy saucepan, cook the poppy seeds and water until the mixture
thickens. Add the milk and cook over low heat for 10 mins, stirring
often.
2. Add butter, vanilla and cinnamon, stir and add the sugar. Continue
cooking for 5 mins, stirring. Remove from the heat and stir in graham
crackers and raisins. Let cool.
