4 oz Milk Chocolate Candy
1/2 c Butter Or Margarine
2 lg Eggs
3/4 c Sugar
1 ts Vanilla Extract
3/4 c Unbleached All-Purpose Flour
1/2 c Walnuts Or Pecans; Chopped
(Optional)
Preheat the oven to 350 Degrees F. Grease an 8-inch square baking
pan. Melt the chocolate and butter over low heat, stirring to blend.
Set aside to cool slightly. In a medium mixer bowl, beat the eggs
and sugar together until frothy. Add the vanilla. Slowly add the
chocolate mixture to the egg mixture, blending well. Add the flour,
beating until smooth. Fold in the nuts, if used. Spread the batter
in the prepared pan and bake for 25 minutes. Place the pan on a wire
rack and cool until cold to the touch before cutting into squares.
