1 c Slivered almonds
1/2 c Instant chicken bouillon
1/2 c Dried parsley
1 tb Dried minced onion
1 tb Dried whole basil
1 tb Dried dill weed
2 ts Seasoned salt
1 ts Garlic powder
1/2 ts Dried lemon peel
1/2 ts Black pepper
Place all ingredients in a resealable plastic bag or jar; seal and
shake to mix. Makes 2 cups of seasoning. TO PREPARE RICE: Combine 1
cup uncooked rice, 2 cups water, 3 tablespoons seasoning, and
1 tablespoon butter or margarine in a medium saucepan. Bring to a
boil; cover and reduce heat to low. Cook 20 to 25 minutes or until
all liquid is absorbed.
NOTE: Seasoning can be
divided into smaller portions for
gift giving. Makes a neat gift in pretty small bottles.
