Main Ingredients:

3 eggs, divided 1/2 cup sugar2 Tbls. flour1 Tbls. melted butter1 Tbls. grated orange rind1 cup orange juice1 9-inch pie shell1/4 cup plus 2 Tbls. sugar


Cooking Preparation of the Recipe:

Beat yolks until thick. Add 1/2 cup sugar, flour, butter orangerind and juice; mix well. Pour into pie shell. Bake at 450F for 10minutes. Reduce to 350F and bake for 25 minutes more or until set.Beat egg whites until foamy. Gradually add sugar, beating untilstiff peaks form. Spread meringue over hot filling, sealing to edgeof pastry. Brown meringue for 10 minutes in a 350F oven. Chill.
