Cooking Preparation of the Recipe:
2 1/2 c Sugar 1 T Butter
2/3 c White corn syrup 1 t Vanilla
1 c Cream Few drops red food coloring
3 1/2 c Raw peanuts or pecans
Combine sugar, syrup, cream and peanuts in a heavy saucepan. Cook
over low heat, stirring constantly, until a few drops of mixture
forms a soft ball when dropped in cool water. Remove from heat. Add
butter, vanilla and coloring. Beat until mixture is thick and creamy.
Drop by spoonfuls onto waxed paper.
*Note: milk can be used instead of cream.
