Main Ingredients:
1 c. flour
1/2 c. salt
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 c. water
1 tbsp. cooking oil
Drop of oil of clove or wintergreen
(optional)
Food coloring
Cooking Preparation of the Recipe:
Put all ingredients together in a heavy saucepan and cook over medium heat until dough forms ball and pulls away from sides of pan. Add food color and knead until smooth (it doesn't stick to counter top - doesn't need flour kneaded in.
