Cooking Preparation of the Recipe:
2 lb Golden Delicious apples Juice from a half lemon
4 c Water 1 Vanilla bean
1/2 c Sugar - split lengthwise
Peel, core and quarter the apples. Put all the ingredients in a large
pan. Bring to boil. Reduce heat to low, cover and cook 15 minutes,
until apples are slightly soft. Cool and refrigerate. Serve cold.
