Cooking Preparation of the Recipe:
3 tb Butter
1/3 c Chopped onion
1 c White rice
1 1/2 c Chicken broth
1/4 c Apple juice concentrate
1/4 ts Ground turmeric
Heat butter in medium saucepan. Add onion and slowly saute over low
heat until soft. Add rice, chicken broth, apple juice concentrate and
turmeric. Stir to combine, cover and bring to boil. Immediately turn
down heat as low as possible and simmer until liquid is absorbed and
rice is tender, about 15 minutes.
