Cooking Preparation of the Recipe:

2 Apples, peeled sliced thin
2 Oranges, peeled sliced
2 Bananas peeled sliced thin
1 sm Can Mandarin Oranges
Marachino cherries
2 Egg whites
3 tb Sugar
2 tb Thinly sliced almonds
1 tb Rum

Beat the eggwhites with the sugar until very stiff. Arrange all the
fruits and the almonds into 4 ovenproof dishes. Sprinkle the rum over
each dish and heap the eggwhite mixture ontop of the fruit. Broil for
a couple of minutes until the eggwhite/meringue is firm.
