"Wonderful homemade mint patties. These can be colored according to season and cut into shapes, using cookie or canape cutters. Have fun with them! Original recipe yield: 24 small patties."

Main Ingredients:
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1/2 cup butter
1 teaspoon mint extract
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 pound confectioners' sugar
1 drop red food coloring (optional)
Cooking Preparation of the Recipe:
Beat white corn syrup, butter or margarine, mint extract, and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Mix in 1 pound of powdered sugar and knead intil smooth.
Color with food coloring as desired. Pat or roll to about 1/4 inch thick. Use small cookie cutters to cut shapes.
