Cooking Preparation of the Recipe:
2 c Rice Flakes
1 c Coconut, shredded
2 Egg whites
1/2 c Nut meats, ground or
-chopped
1 c Sugar
1 ts Vanilla
Beat the egg whites until stiff, add the sugar gradually, then the
vanilla, coconut, nuts and last the flakes, being careful not to
crumble the flakes. Drop by spoonfuls on buttered pan and bake in
moderate oven until macaroons are delicate brown.
