2 pk Unflavored gelatin 1 c Sugar
Juice of 2 oranges 12 Eggs -- divided
4 c Milk 6 tb Confectioner's sugar
Grated rind of 2 oranges
Dissolve unflavored gelatin in orange juice.
Heat milk on stove. When milk is hot, add grated orange rind,
sugar and oj/gelatin mixture; stir.
Beat the 12 egg yolks (reserve the whites) in a bowl, then slowly stir
into milk mixture. Let it all simmer 20 min., stirring occaisionally.
Whip the 12 egg whites, gradually adding confectioner's sugar.
Fold the egg whites into the milk mixture, put it all in a bowl; cover
and refrigerate overnight.
