Cooking Preparation of the Recipe:

2 c Sugar 1 ts Vanilla
3 c Flour 3 c Apples, red; chopped (do not
1 ts Soda -peel)
1 ts Salt 1 c Walnuts; chopped
1 ts Cinnamon 1 pt Cream, whipping; whipped
pn Nutmeg Sugar, powdered; to taste
1 1/2 c Oil -(for sweetening cream)
4 Eggs

In large bowl of mixer, sift together dry ingredients. With mixer on
slowest speed, add oil. At medium speed, add eggs one at a time,
beating well after each addition. Add vanilla. Stir in the apples
and walnuts. Turn batter into a greased tub pan. Bake at 350øF for 1
hour or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes in pan and
turn out on plate. Serve with sweetened whipped cream.
