See below ingredients and instructions of the recipe
1/4 c Chopped Onion 1/4 C Chopped 1 ts Cumin, ground
1/4 c Green pepper, chopped 1/2 ts Salt
2 tb Cooking oil 1/4 ts Garlic powder
1 c Rice, long grain, uncooked 2 c Water
1/2 c Tomatoes with green chilies 2 1/2 tb Cilantro, fresh, chopped
1/4 ts Tumeric, ground (optional)
In a skillet, saute onion and green pepper in oil for about 2
minutes. Add rice and stir until coated with oil. Add tomatoes,
turmeric, cumin, salt, garlic powder and water; bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and simmer, covered, about 20 minutes or until liquid is
absorbed. Add cilantro if desired. Yield: 6 servings.
