Cooking Preparation of the Recipe:
8 c Sugar
12 c Water
1 ts Oil of anise
Red food coloring
Vodka
Boil sugar and water. Then turn off fire. Add 1 tsp oil of anise.
Color it pink with food coloring, and when cold, add a fifth of
vodka. Let stand six weeks before using, and you can't tell if from
