Cooking Preparation of the Recipe:

2 c All-purpose flour 1/8 ts Salt
2 c Sugar 4 ea Eggs -- beaten
2 ts Baking powder 2 c Winter squash -- mashed
1 ts Baking soda Cooked
1/2 ts Ground cinnamon 1 c Vegetable oil

-------------------CREAM CHEESE FROSTING:------------------------
1 pk Cream cheese -- 3 oz 6 tb Butter or margarine --
Softened Softened
2 c Confectioners' -- sugar 1 tb Milk
1 ts Vanilla extract

In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder,baking soda,
cinnamon and salt. Stir in eggs, squash and oil: mix well. Spread
into a greased 15-in, x 10-in, x 1-in. baking pan. Bake at 350 deg.
for 25 to 30 minutes or until bars test done. Cool on a wire rack.
Meanwhile, for frosting, beat together cream cheese, confection's
sugar, vanilla and butter. Add milk; stir until smooth. Frost cooled
cake. Cut into squares. Yield: 4 dozen.
