4 tb Butter; melted, divided ds Nutmeg, ground
3/4 c Bread cubes, soft 1/4 ts Salt
1 c Applesauce 1/4 c Milk, evaporated
3/4 c Yams; cooked, mashed 1 Egg; beaten
2 tb Sugar, brown; firmly packed
Pour 2 tablespoons melted butter over bread cubes; toss lightly and
set aside. Combine remaining ingredients; pour into a greased 3-cup
casserole. Top with bread cubes. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 to 25
minutes; allow to stand 10 minutes before serving.
