Cooking Preparation of the Recipe:

1 md Onion 1 Bay Leaf
1 Clove Garlic Seasoned Salt, to taste
1 Green Pepper Pepper -- to taste
1 tb Bacon Fat 1 lg Can Baked Beans
1 c Fresh Tomatoes, chopped W/o tomato sauce
2 c Consomme 1 ts Red Wine
2 Sprigs Parsley Lemon Slices

Saute the onion, garlic, and green pepper in bacon fat until tender.
Then add the tomatoes, consomme, celery, parsley, bay leaf, and
seasonings.

Add the beans and simmer about 30 minutes, then put through a sieve
(or use your blender), reheat, and add the wine just before serving.
Serve in heated bowls with lemon slices on top.
