Cooking Preparation of the Recipe:
1 lb Lean ground beef 2 Garlic cloves, minced
3 c Cooked black beans 2 Bay leaves
1 c Diced green pepper 1/2 ts Ground red pepper
1 c Chopped onions 3 c Vegetable or tomato juice
1 c Diced carrots 4 c Hot cooked rice
1 tb Chili powder
Cook beef in 2-3 quart sauce pan over medium heat, stirring to
crumble. Add all ingredients except rice. Bring to boil; simmer
uncovered 20-25 minutes. Remove bay leaves. Serve over hot rice with
chips on side.
