2/3 c Shortening 1/2 ts Salt
1 lb Brown sugar 1 ts Vanilla
3 ea Eggs Chocolate chips
2 2/3 c Flour Nuts
2 ts Baking powder
Melt shortening in sauce pan. Add brown sugar and stir to dissolve.
Cool mixture slightly. Add eggs beating in 1 at a time. Mix in
remaining ingredients. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Cut into
bars.
