Cooking Preparation of the Recipe:

3/4 c Butter or margarine -- 1/4 ts Baking soda
Softened 1/4 ts Salt
1/2 c Brown sugar 1 1/2 c Pecans -- chopped
2 Eggs 1 c Milk chocolate chips
1 ts Vanilla 22 Caramel candy -- quartered
1 1/2 c Flour

Preheat oven to 350. In a medium bowl, cream butter and brown sugar
until fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla; stir until smooth. In a small
bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt. Add dry ingredients to
creamed mixture; stir until a soft dough forms. Stir in pecans,
chocolate chips, and caramel pieces. Drop tablespoonfuls of dough 2
inches apart onto a greased baking sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or
until edges are lightly browned. Allow cookies to cool slightly on
pan; trasnfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Store in an airtight container.

Yield: about 4 dozen cookies.
