1/2 c Mother's Wheat Germ; 1 Egg white;
1 tb Italian Seasoning; 1 tb Water;
1 ts Dried parsley flakes; 4 Chicken breasts HALVES;
1 ts Dried minced onion; -- skinless boneless -=OR=-
1/4 ts Garlic powder; 4 Chicken breasts HALVES;
1/4 ts Salt; (OPTIONAL) -- bone-in
1/4 ts Black pepper;
Heat oven 400 F. Lightly spray baking pan with non-stick cooking
spray. Combine wheat germ and seasoning in shallow dish. Combine egg
white and water in separate dish, beat until frothy. Dip chicken
into egg white mixture. Dip chicken into egg mixture, then into
wheat germ mixture. Dip and coat again in remaining egg white and
wheat germ mixtures coating chicken thoroughly. Place chicken on
prepared baking sheet; lightly sprayed each chicken breast with
non-stick cooking spray. Bake 20 to 22 minutes minutes and about 45
minutes for bone-in chicken breast(s), or until juices run clear when
priced with fork. 4 servings.
