Cooking Preparation of the Recipe:

1 1/2 lb Ground Beef;lean
1/2 c Catsup;tomato
1/3 c Tomato Juice
1/2 ts Salt
1/2 ts Pepper
1/8 ts Red Pepper
2 Eggs;beaten
3/4 c Bread Crumbs;fresh
1/4 c Onions;finely chopped
2 ts Prepared Mustard
TOPPING:
1/4 c Catsup;tomato
1/2 ts Prepared Mustard
2 ts Brown Sugar

In a large bowl, combine catsup, tomato juice, salt, black and red
peppers, eggs, bread crumbs, onions and mustard. Mix until thoroughly
blended.

Add ground beef. Mix gently but thoroughly.

Line a 9 by 5 inch loaf pan with foil. Press in the beef mixture.

In a seperate bowl, combine the topping ingredients, mixing well.
Spread topping over the meat loaf.

Bake at 400 F for 35 to 45 minutes or until done.

Drain off fat. Rest meat loaf 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with
fresh herbs, if desired.
