-----------------SOUTHERN LIVING; JULY 1980----------------------
1 lb Spinach, fresh; torn in bite 6 sl Bacon; cooked and crumbled
-size pieces 4 Green onions; thinly sliced
1 c Palm, heart of; sliced thin 3 Tomatoes; cut into wedges
14 oz Artichoke hearts; drained 2 Eggs; hard-cooked; chopped
-and diced
--------------------TANGY SALAD DRESSING-------------------------
1 sm Onion; minced 1/3 c Catsup
3/4 c Sugar 1/4 c Oil, vegetable
1/2 c Vinegar 2 tb Worcestershire sauce
Combine all ingredients except dressing in a large salad bowl; toss
lightly. Cover salad, and chill until serving time. Serve with Tangy
Salad Dressing.
Tangy Salad Dressing:
Combine all ingredients in container of electric blender; blend well.
Chill before serving. Yield: 2 cups
