1 lb Dried apricots
4 c Water
2 Onions -- minced
3 lb Center-cut chuck
2 tb Fat
1 1/2 ts Salt
1 Bay leaf
1 tb Lemon juice
2 tb Brown sugar
1 ts Cinnamon
Wash the apricots and soak in the water for 1 hour. Brown the
onions and meat in the fat. Add the salt, bay leaf, lemon juice,
sugar, cinnamon and undrained apricots. Coverand cook over low heat 2
1/2 hours or until meat is tender. Remove bay leaf.
