Cooking Preparation of the Recipe:

3/4 c Butter, room temperature 1/2 ts Salt
1 c Granulated sugar 1/2 c Herman Sourdough Starter
1 c Packed brown sugar 1 tb Vanilla
4 x Eggs 3/4 c Semisweet chocolate pieces
1/2 c Unsweetened cocoa 1/2 c Chopped nuts
1 1/2 c Flour

In bowl of electric mixer, cream butter and sugars. Add eggs one at a
time, beating well after each. Stir dry ingredients together. Combine
starter and vanilla; add alternately with dry ingredients to sugar
mixture. Spread in greased 11 1/2 x 7 1/2 x 1 1/2" pan. Sprinkle
chocolate and nuts on top. Bake in preheated 350F oven 30 min.
