Cooking Preparation of the Recipe:

4 ea Eggs Melted cooled
1 1/2 c Sugar 1 ts Vanilla extract
2/3 c All-purpose flour 5 c Coconut flakes
1/2 ts Baking powder 1 Jar maraschino cherries --
1/4 ts Salt Drained halved
2 tb Butter or margarine --

In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs until foamy. Gradually add sugar,
beating constantly until thick and pale yellow. Stir together dry
ingredients; fold into egg mixture. Stir in butter, vanilla and
coconut. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased and floured cookie sheets.
Top with cherries. Bake at 325 deg. for 10-13 min. Yield: about 6
dozen.
