Main Ingredients:
4 cups water-ground cornmeal
1 Tbls. salt
1 Tbls. sugar
2 Tbls. baking powder
1 cup minced onion
6 eggs
Cooking Preparation of the Recipe:
Sift the dry ingredients. Add onions. Add the eggs, one at a time and beat well after each addition. Add 1 1/2 cups hot water. Drop into hot deep fat (370 degrees F) by tablespoonfulls and fry until browned.
