2 tb Vegetable oil 1/2 ts Salt
1 md Yellow onion, chopped 1/4 ts Pepper
1 ea Green bell pepper, chopped 1/4 ts Saffron
1 c Long-grain rice
Heat oil in a large skillet. Stir in the onion, pepper rice. Fry
over moderate heat, stirring frequently, until the rice becomes
golden, about 15 minutes. Add spices 2 c water bring to a boil.
Reduce heat simmer about 20 minutes until liquid is absorbed.
