------------------MARINADE AND CHOPS----------------------------
1 c Soy Sauce 1 1/2 ts Molasses
1/4 c Sugar 1 1/2 ts Salt
1/2 c Water 6 To 8 Pork Chops, Thick-Cut
--------------------BARBECUE SAUCE------------------------------
1/4 c Brown Sugar 7 oz Ketchup
1 1/2 ts Dry Hot Mustard 6 oz Chili Sauce
3 tb Water
COMBINE all ingredients for marinade and bring to a boil. let cool.
Place 6-8 thick-cut pork chops in pan and pour marinating sauce over
chops. Cover and let stand overnight in refrigerator. The next day,
take pork chops out of marinade, place in a single layer in a baking
pan and cover tightly with foil. Bake in a preheated 375 F oven until
tender, about 2 hours.
FOR BARBECUE SAUCE, combine sugar and mustard with water. Blend until
smooth. Combine with ketchup and chili sauce in saucepan and bring to
a boil. When chops are tender, remove from oven and dip in barbecue
sauce. Return to uncovered baking pan and continue cooking in a 350 F
oven until lightly glazed, about 30 mins. Serve hot.
Makes 6 to 8 marinated pork chops.
