1 tb Fresh ginger; coarsely grate
1 tb Fresh basil; chopped -or-
1 ts Dried basil
3/4 c Dry red wine
1 tb Soy sauce
1 Cl Garlic; minced (or 1/2 ts
1 tb Brown sugar
4 Boneless skinless chicken br
2 tb Vegetable oil
Combine ginger, basil, wine, soy sauce, garlic, and brown sugar. Heat
oil in large skillet;saute chicken on both side until golden brown,
about 8 minutes total. Spoon ginger mixture over chicken, reduce heat
to simmer, and cover skillet. Cook about 4 minutes longer, turning
once.
