2 lb Potatoes, (about 6 med.); -temperature
-peeled and sliced 1 tb Dill, fresh; chopped -
2 md Onions; peeled and chopped (to 2 tablespoons)
3 tb Butter or margarine Salt and pepper; to taste
1/2 c Sour cream; at room

Parboil potatoes for 5 mins. Drain and slice. In a medium skillet,
saute onions in butter until tender. Add sliced potatoes, sour cream,
dill, salt and pepper and cook slowly, covered, until tender, about
20 mins. Serves 4 to 6.
NOTES : The Poles consume great quantities of potatoes, which are
prepared
in interesting dishes. This is a typical one.
