Cooking Preparation of the Recipe:



1 oz Butter/margarine
4 lg Red onions, thinly sliced
Salt freshly ground black
-- pepper

Melt the butter in heavy-based pot over a moderate heat. Add the
onions cook gently till translucent. Season, then cover simmer
over a very low heat for 20 minutes. Stir transfer to a warmed
serving dish.
